In early 2018, Hans dedicated 30 days to learning JavaScript and building a minimalist flight booking site. Using Kiwi.com’s open Flight Search API, he created a clean, user-friendly prototype designed for travelers who value flexibility and affordability. Launched on Product Hunt on February 13, 2018, FlightList quickly gained traction, reaching the top spot for the day and earning a place among the top 10 most upvoted travel products on the platform.
